Buck Rogers Space Ships
They come in lots of fun shapes and colors!
In writing and art, I draw inspiration from the “Buck Rogers” space ships of the late 1920’s through the 1930’s. Very few ship designs repeat, they’re a cornucopia of fun! Here are some of the wonderful designs seen in Buck Rogers comic strips, toys, and games. We can thank the original design team of Philip Francis Nowlan (writer) and Dick Calkins (artist) for these playful designs. When we have real anti-gravity ships, I’m going to have one of these designed for me!
