Happy Thanksgiving

I want to wish all my Space Explorers here in the U.S. a very Happy Thanksgiving! There will be no article this week due to family obligations. However, I have a smashing post lined up you next week! It’s right on the money for all you “Conspiracy Theorists” who are currently observing all their theories coming true.

In 1957, acclaimed science fiction author, Catherine Lucille Moore, published her last novel, “Doomsday Morning.” The work is not well known today and it should be.

By the early 21^st century America has become a surveillance state, under the iron grip of an all-powerful political machine. Society as we knew it was gone, reshaped into a new social order where innocent citizens are bullied, extorted, and terrified into utter submission.  

Although Moore seems to be making a statement about the Soviets, I don’t think she was. I think she was contemplating the roots of the cancerous political and psychological growths we’re seeing in current society.
