This sound like a smartly written pulp tale. I like how he makes the Hollywood executive a skeleton:) Hollywood hasn't changed in all that time.
lol ;-) Kuttner wrote about Hollywood in other tales as well. His sci-fi stories about "Hollywood on the Moon" are great.
This is interesting. It looks like he did some work in Hollywood, and his feelings about that place and people are similar to Raymond Chandler's, though expressed differently 😸

Well, the Gallagher stories are top-notch humor so could be! Have you read the Hogben stories? They're great, too.
