Funny enough, when we visited the big city of Denver a few weeks ago, we only went to one used bookstore, Black & Read.

I didn't find anything, except a passage in a book about comets and prophecy where I flipped to a page referring to the Great Chicago Fire. Whole communities perished in an instant...

My wife however, picked up a copy of JC's Hero, which she already had and I thought as much.

So much for the big city!

Heard "I Need a Hero" at the liquor store earlier. Seemed appropriate to share as MANY of the old yarns you dredge up have drinking as a major part of the story (more than you know). 😉😉

None of them were drinking tequila though, I bet...

Well, you never know. I'm sure there's some pulp story out there where they're drinking tequila. Perhaps it wold take place south of the border....

Yes, it would fit with the recent Walter Bosley about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as intelligence agents. They bopped back and forth down south. Early 1900s.
