Although I call my books science fiction they are, in truth, science fantasy. I don’t use that old term because it is likely to be mistaken. What I’m saying is that I write pseudo-science. I feel pretty shameless about saying it for the very good reason that our science is in a constant state of flux. As an example, during the past century there were ten planets in our solar system. Then there were nine, then eight. Then nine again. There still may be ten, one with an extremely long orbit. There may once have been a huge planet residing between Mars and Jupiter making the count eleven, or ten, or nine. See what I mean…we just don’t know.
